Privacy Policy
Stockroom, by Willowcy — track stock levels from anywhere. Last updated 18 August 2026.
Stockroom is an inventory tracking app. This policy describes exactly what the app stores, why, and what control you have over it.
No email, no password
Stockroom never asks for an email address, password, or phone number. On first launch the app creates an anonymous identifier for your device so your inventory can be told apart from anyone else's. That identifier is not linked to your name or contact details, but it is a stable identity — the same one every time you open the app — so the data tied to it is linked, not anonymised.
What is stored
- An anonymous account identifier, created automatically on first launch.
- The items you add: name, barcode, quantity, unit, and optional per-item stock alert thresholds.
- A history of stock changes for each item — every quantity adjustment and the reason given for it, timestamped.
- Your account's default low- and medium-stock alert thresholds.
- A photo, only for items where you choose to attach one.
What is not collected
- No email address, password, or phone number.
- No location data.
- No contacts.
- No advertising identifiers, and no third-party analytics or tracking.
- Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers. There are no adverts in Stockroom.
Camera and photo library
The camera is used for two things: reading a barcode when you add or look up an item, and optionally taking a photo of an item. The photo library is used only if you choose to attach an existing photo instead of taking a new one. Both are requested only when you use the relevant feature, never on app open. Microphone access is explicitly disabled for both — the app never records audio.
Exporting your data
The Export tab can generate a CSV or Excel file of your items and stock history, entirely on your device. The file is only sent anywhere if you choose to share it yourself, through your device's own share sheet — Stockroom does not transmit export files anywhere on its own.
Where data is stored
Data is stored using Supabase. It is transmitted over an encrypted connection, and access is restricted at the database level so that an account can only ever read or change its own data.
Deleting your data
Open Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. This immediately and permanently deletes every item, its stock history, your alert defaults, any item photos, and the account identifier itself. Nothing is kept afterwards, and there is no shared-ownership concept in Stockroom to complicate it — the data belongs to your account alone, so deleting it removes all of it, for good.
You do not need to contact anyone to delete your data, but if you have a question about it you can reach us at the address below.
Children
Stockroom is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
